The founder of this company was the respected Haji Mohammad Akbar, known as the Babae saffron in Afghanistan, who started farming and growing saffron in a small piece of land with an area of 300 square meters in the year 1373 AH according to 1994. Considering the unprecedented welcome and the production of halal and blessed products, it led to the encouragement of other farmers in Herat province.

Babae Saffron Production, Processing and Packaging Company is an independent company with limited liability and has license number D03-395 from the General Directorate of Central Registration and Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which since 1388 Hijri according to 2009 AD has been engaged in the production of processing, packaging Classification and marketing of saffron and saffron corm in Herat province.
